She was crate trained since she was a puppy so her crate was considered her “home”. She slept in there and when she was on timeout she would go there. It helped a lot when we were potty training her since dogs don’t go potty in their own “home”/space. Since she turned one I thought she deserved more freedom, so she has a big bed for her outside of her crate now as her space.
